Kids Summer Camp – Crossings

Have you ever tried planting something before? It can be such a thrilling experience to sow a seed for a flower, a vegetable in a garden or on a farm, or even a tree in your yard. While planting a seed may seem simple, it actually requires a lot of effort. It demands time and a great deal of care before witnessing the beauty of a sunflower, tasting a delicious piece of fruit, or relaxing under the shade of a majestic oak tree. But before you can enjoy the rewards of the seed, it’s crucial to pay attention to the quality of the soil.

In the book of Luke chapter 8, Jesus shares a story about life on a farm to help us grasp what it truly means to be His faithful follower. He highlights what to watch out for and the distinction between good and poor soil and the outcomes they produce. Following Jesus, akin to planting a seed, can be challenging, yet the blessings that come from knowing Him are priceless!

We warmly invite you to join us from July 21-24! This event is open to children who have completed 2nd through 5th grades. It promises to be a wonderful mix of Jesus and fun!
