Dr. Greg McFadden Senior Pastor, Minister of Evangelism
Dr. Greg McFadden, Senior Pastor
Since joining us over 20 years ago, Pastor Greg has been diligent in seeking to shepherd the church according to the will of God. That resolve has not faded, and he is now leading us as we expand our focus beyond our local community. Starting with a three-county region, Pastor Greg’s motivation is to equip every church member to proclaim the truth where they live, not just where they gather for corporate worship. Greg’s wife, Sheila, loves singing on the praise team and teaching a women’s Bible study group. They have three grown children and in December they will welcome their 2nd grandson!
Kevin Hamilton Minister of Worship & Music
Kevin Hamilton, Worship & Senior Adults
If you don’t already know Kevin, you’ve probably never been in the same room as him. Always ready to make you laugh, Kevin certainly makes an impression, but his focus is squarely on bringing honor to the Lord. He seeks to live out John 3:30 as he leads the church to do the same; “He must increase, but [we] must decrease.” Kevin’s wife, Cheryl loves to share her passion for knitting and enjoys her ladies Sunday School class.
Bradley Gray Minister of Discipleship and Community
Bradley Gray, Minister of Discipleship and Community
Brad is the latest to join the Sugar Creek family. Serving in the local area in the past, Brad and Dee Dee have spent the last 10 years serving a Baptist church in Chattanooga, TN. Close to Brad’s heart is people, administration and problem solving. He loves ministry that encourages the church to be both a community of faith and a hospital for the hurting. Developing disciples that make disciples is the heartbeat of what energizes him. Brad and Dee Dee love to involve themselves in the lives of their 6 kids, 6 in laws, and 11 grandchildren.
Christian Shipman Minister to Families of Students
Christian Shipman, as Minister to Families of Students, focuses on 6th-12th grade students. His wife, Karessa, helps him with student events and teaches Sunday morning Bible study with the high school girls. Christian knows that students are an important part of reaching our world for Christ. They regularly interact with students of all different backgrounds at school, and many will move on to other locations in the near future for college or a career. Christian takes his role seriously in equipping these same students to make an impact for Christ both today and into the future. Christian and Karessa have one son, Remian.
