Since joining us over 20 years ago, Pastor Greg has been diligent in seeking to shepherd the church according to the will of God. That resolve has not faded, and he is now leading us as we expand our focus beyond our local community. Starting with a three-county region, Pastor Greg’s motivation is to equip every church member to proclaim the truth where they live, not just where they gather for corporate worship.  Greg’s wife, Sheila, loves singing on the praise team and teaching a women’s Bible study group. They have three grown children and in December they will welcome their 2nd grandson!

Having served in churches in Missouri, Oklahoma, and on both the east and west sides of Tennessee, Brad and Dee Dee love their Sugar Creek home.  People, administration, and problem-solving are close to Brad’s heart. He loves ministry that inspires the church to be a community of faith and a refuge for the hurting. Developing disciples who make disciples is the core of what drives him. Brad and Dee Dee cherish being actively involved in the lives of their six children, six in-laws, and eleven grandchildren. 

Daniel joined our church family as Worship Pastor in late 2025. He and his wife have performed locally with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and Union University, where he also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Voice. When he began Full-Time ministry after college, he heard a wise preacher explain the minister of music’s greatest mission for the church: “All I can ask of you is to make much of Jesus!” Music is his craft, people are his passion, and shepherding the church’s worship of Jesus Christ is his ministry’s greatest privilege. Daniel and his wife Meleah were married in 2022, and together they love making music, enjoying good coffee, going hiking & camping, trying new & exciting restaurants, and in all things, “making much of Jesus.”

Elliot has come to Sugar Creek after serving for 8 years in student ministries in both West Tennessee and North Mississippi. His desire is to see young people have true communion with God as they grow in the knowledge and love of God through His Word by the power of His Spirit. Elliot desires to partner with parents by engaging, equipping, and training them to disciple their children at home. His goal is to see teenagers love Jesus, love other people, and love the Church. He and his wife Kaylee are so excited to serve and grow with the body of Christ at Sugar Creek. 

Candra joined the Sugar Creek family in March of 2025. Candra serves children and the families of children birth to 5th grade. She has a passion for making sure children have God’s Word planted deeply in their hearts. She loves to see kids grow in their faith and their understanding of the Bible. Candra came to Sugar Creek after serving nine years in children’s ministry at Trimble Baptist Church. Candra married her husband, William, in 2022. William is a police officer and partner in ministry.
